This course will be held over the course of two evenings, from 6pm to 9pm. This will be on the 20th and 27th of August 2019.
Who the training is for:
Our Students come from a diverse background, but are aiming at careers in Business Analysis, Digital Strategy, Service Design, Product Management and similar. Some are already in these roles and are looking to strengthen and advance their skills, whilst some are re-skilling from another career.
Why this topic is relevant:
This day takes the knowledge of what requirements are and how to elicit and manage them, and takes it to a practical level, allowing students to participate in the process of modelling and mapping requirements which is a core activity on software projects.
This interactive and informative workshop will cover methods of modelling information, and mapping requirements in various forms.
Students will learn:
- What modelling is, and the methods of modelling requirements including, sitemaps, Use Case Modelling, decision trees and other related modelling techniques
- What mapping is, and how to impact map and story map requirements
- What data modelling is and how it is used
