3 Day Short Course - Project Methodology, life-cycles and case studies in the context of Organisational culture (Glasgow)
Who the training is for:
Our Students come from a diverse background, but are aiming at careers in Business Analysis, Digital Strategy, Service Design, Product Management and similar. Some are already in these roles and are looking to strengthen and advance their skills, whilst some are re-skilling from another career.
Why this topic is relevant:
One of the major buzzwords of the last 15 years, or so, has been agile. ogy Organisations have been struggling with implementing their own flavours of agile - but that's not where the story ends. This course is not your typical 2 day agile course. We're going to cover the historiography of project methodology, the key features, the draw backs and the context - from waterfall, through agile, DevOps and lean and relate them to organisational culture. We will finish with a case study of a key applications 'The Spotify Model'.
This intensive 3 day workshop will cover:
- The range of project methodologies in common usage, starting with waterfall vs the agile manifesto
- Key features and drawbacks of methods, fostering critical thinking in their usage and application
- To understand project methodologies in the context of use and organisational culture
